My 2 week old baby boy born in 36 week 1600 grams having 4 mm ASD and large PDA.

Baby boy born on 36 week with 1600gram.after 16 days now he is 1635 grams and is having holes in heart.
4 mm ostium secundum ASD with L>R shunt
Large PDA with L>R shunt
Severe PAH,mild PR
Normal biventricular function.
Doctor has advised for a open heart surgery.
Please let me know the risk involved and will my baby be safe after surgery.

I hope everything is okay. I do not have an answer but hope they also have had a genetics consult for your little one.
