could my son have Coxakie Virus A and what can we do for it?

My son saw the doctor and tested negetive for strep, mono, and Influenza A and B. His throat hurts and He has red spots on the back of his throat. Two sores have started developing in the corners of his mouth. Could this be Coxakie virus A?
