12 year old with pain on left side, under ribcage

For a week now my daughter (12) is complaining about localized pain directly under her rib cage.   She says it bothers her when she sits, bends over, and eats. However, there is no pain if she touches the area or pokes it.

She has no fever or has not been vomiting.

Any ideas what this could be?

I would take her to a doctor and get them to examine her, they can tell if the spleen is enlarged and if this is the case it could be due to infection etc

Could also be an indicator of a failing gallbladder, uclers or even kidney stones. Age is becoming more and more irrelevant in contracting illnesses.

There are several things may cause this pain she is having, could be some Scoliosis also Ulcerative Colitas or Spleen problems .,has she had a fall or accident in the last week ?
