2 yr old w/diarrhea

Let me start off by saying how she got diarrhea. My 4 yr old got sick on christmas day, (vomit), then a few days later my 2 yr started having diarrhea, then a day after that my 4 yr old got sick (vomit) again. My 2 yr still has the diarrhea, its down to about 3 times a day, today so far only once and it was a blow out, that was a 1-2 hrs after she ate a waffle and had some milk. She had no diarrhea overnight last night. What else can she have besides pedialite? thank you for your help.

You can start milk when she is completely better. Milk is hard on the stomach.

Then heres what I suggest , I am assuming she has no fever and it is just diarreha..Pedialite obviously ....try a banana or apple sauce maybe with a cup of chicken broth.Twice is not too bad , is she listless ,its the dehydration to watch, if you feel concerned get off to the ER .If shes okay overnight then Rice tomorrow, broth again, light bland foods .they say peach juice from the cans is okay ...

I doubt it, but milk is a food and its best to stick to  water and pedialite so dont blame your self its easily done .Is she still vomiting, she is 4 year old so giving her milk is not imperative . Once she has stopped the diarrhea try some bland foods, rice ,bananas, applesauce, chicken broth can be given.Make sure she is not dehydrated and if she seems worse take her to the doctor ..good luck

If her diarrhea was over, and by me giving her  milk this morning would that have brought the diarrhea back?

how long do i have to wait to give milk again? The only reason I gave her some milk was, because she didn't have diarrhea overnight.

Definitely STOP THE MILK, APPLE JUICE ….you need plain toast, apple sauce, water. that is for diarrhea only… you can look up a longer list online.
