Babies and vicodin withdrawl

I am 31 years old and 6wks pregnant with my second child. I had a L4/5 spinal fusion two years ago and disabled since. I have a non-union and live in severe pain. I have taken Vicodin since and my obstrician says I can and should continue to take it and she prescribes it to me. She said the only thing is my baby will have withdrawls :{. Any feedback on any personal experience of patience with vicodin use and there babies?

You may find good feed back on the Substance abuse forum ,unfortunate naming but they do know about withdrawal ..
