Baby Hands and Feet Turn Purple

My 6 month old whenever she tries to situp or play or even cries for a minute her hands and feet turn purple.  The doctor is not sure even what it could be she is doing research on the issue also.  Can any one help.

Have  your pediatrician check her heart for abnormalities.  Has she noted any heart murmur? She could have Tetrology of Fallot and that needs to be looked in to.  Does she do this when she feeds also? If her hands and feet are cold it could be just acrocyanosis, but if it is with activity or feeding, it could be cardiac in nature. Get her to a pediatric cardiologist!
