High WBC count

i have a health question for my 4 year old daughter.
A week ago she was diognosed for a throat infection.
last saturday night she woke up in the night with bad ear pain. then on sunday she got fever n she started complaining of body ache: leg pain , ear pain, stomach pain , neck .....
today i took her to the doctor and they did blood test. In which her WBC came 16,300and Neutrophil is 73.
Now i m worried hearing her WBC count. IS it bad ? should i take her for 2nd opinion.. i dont know
Please help...

I do know that where there is an infection the WBC are out of range ..it sounds as if she has a flu virus , if she continues to be so unwell a 2nd opinion for peace of mind will not hurt, it could be its taking its time .make sure she is drinking water and is hydrated .good luck
