My 2yr 3months son does not talk or chew

Am so confused my sons 2yrs & 3 months he only says two words car and ball, he completely refuses to chew, cant sip from a straw, only drinks water. He seems normal, great eye contact likes to smile a lot loves playing hide n seek, he also loves playing phone games, knows how to download and play games on the phone, and loves watching baby tv. He counts 1-10 by humming the numbers, he plays with his toys, I have been to the doctors they said he is fine, am just worried their something really wrong .

You need to be an advocate for your child.  Get your gp to listen no matter how hard it may seem.  The longer you wait the harder it will be for him to get control of his eating problem.  Speech therapy to deal with his oral motor problems will make all the difference.  Good luck.

Yes I agree with psat I think at his age he could see a speech therapist ..he seems like a smart child , so your doctor didnt think much was wrong ,maybe somewhat delayed ?

every child reaches his or her milestones when they are ready unfortunately because of other children being so advanced we seem to compare our own children to them but they are individuals and will do it when they feel they can but if you are that concerned i would ask the doctor for him to be referred to a speech therapist as they are excellent in all the things you are concerned about and if there is a underlying problem they will be the people to find it
hope this helped x
