Thoughts on chronic vomiting in a 10 year old?

So my daughter has had trouble with vomiting 3-5 nights a week since she was a toddler (she is almost 11). She has been diagnosed with Asthma and a few environmental allergies. Her allergist stated that the vomiting is due to the asthma. However, I am starting to suspect the opposite may be true. I know vomiting is not good for her esophagus.
She does not experience pain before vomiting.
Most episodes are in the evening, even though a few calls from the school nurse regarding this issue are common each school year.
Stress does increase the likelihood, but not a direct cause (eg. Busy days are more likely)
She does not vomit as a response to discipline.
Coughing episodes will cause her to vomit, but this is the case only about 1 per month.
She is diagnosed ADHD (on concerta).
Her ADHD med has neither increased/decreased episode.
Benadryl/Zofran will stop her from having an episode if given in advance. However, she has never been rx these long term.
