Vomiting after milk. Why?

I have a 14 month old little girl... We tried her on milk a few weeks ago and she would get really fussy so we changed to a transitional formula. She then got a gastro bug which turned into a cold. Last night we tried her on milk again since her bug was a lot better... she woke up 6 hrs after having only a few ounces of milk mixed with her formula and projectile vomited curdled milk. She eats yogurt, cheese and her formula (which is nestle's follow up formula) with out a problem. Could this be a bug? Lactose intolerance? I am going to make an appt with the doctor but was hoping to find some answers a bit sooner.

Thanks

Sarah

Yes a visit to the doctor is good, many children cannot take milk , and if she is eating well otherwise I dont think its too important she drinks a lot.of milk .At her age she can be eating most finger foods, with good nutrients in them .There have been many stomach bugs going round this year, has she any fever, is she well other wise ?
