bone age xray

My six years old son Steven, weights 30lbs, and is  39 inches tall.  His doctor mention that his x-ray (bone age) is the age of a  3 1/2 years old. She was impressed that he grew 2 inches in 8 months. My question is, Does he have a chance to grow  since his bone age indicates to be younger?

he sure will grow :) !! What he got is most probably constitutional growth delay he'll get out of it and catch up with normal adult height and weight.. Don't worry about if the doctor has eliminated any diseases (such as a deficit in growth hormone and stuff)..
