my baby just hit her temple

My baby fell from the bed and she hit on the chair next to the bed her temple. She has a small lump. She is falling asleep 30 minutes after it happened.

Keep her awake and take her to the ER I know its scary with all the CPS bs and stuff but better safe than sorry. My son has had accidents a few times and I always took him to the ER to get checked out and nobody ever called CPS on me. I just feel its better to get it checked out!

I would call the pediatrician's advice line or after-hours line and see if the baby should be checked.  If her eyes are dilated irregularly (in other words, one is and one is not), go to the ER.
