My daughter was just diagnosed with 20/200 in her left eye, 20/40 in the right eye. She is 8 years old. The gentleman that gave the eye exam, prescribed glasses. He didn't seem too concerned. He didn't mention seeing an opthalmologist.  Should I take her to one immediately? Her eye exam was taken a few months ago, and her pediatrician said it was 20/20.

I think you would get some better answers if you put the question onto the eye care forum ..the doctor there will be able to help you ..good luck
