severe headache

hello! my 12 year old sister is having headache since last night. we rushed her to the hospital this morning however she was just advised to consult an opthalmologist and was given a paracetamol as medication. It would have been fine however she's still having severe headache for 24 hours now. what can it be? what can we do or give to make relieve her pain?

It sounds like a migraine attack to me , with the eye problem and the vomiting. I think a visit to the doctor would be best and he will have some meds to help her .

she didn't hit her head. she said her vision is blurry unless she really focus on an object. she vomitted yesterday evening, then again this morning before we rushed her to the children's hospital, and then she vomitted again two hours ago.
