You are welcome. It would be great to hear back from you and good luck x
Thanks and no I haven't I'm going to ask my midwife when I see her for my booking appointment this month I'll post on here what she says, thanks for your help x
Having not experienced ( knowingly) what happens during birth what happens with POP I am not sure. Can you speak to your Dr and midwife about this as well as Urogyne? I would want to know as well if I were you and feel you are asking a perfectly logical question. Have you been on the Ask a Doctor side of this site? Put your question on the Urogyne and POP Dr forums.
I do know women who have had more than one child with a cystocele though if this is any consolation.
Hiya thanks, I have already seen a doctor and just said I have a mild vaginal prolapse, I think she said its a mild bladder prolapse, she said it should go on its own in time. All I ment was... Can you give birth fine with no complications from having this problem, and like will nothing come out as in some people have prolapse were it can hang out I ment can that happen while pushing because your not really ment to push or stain yourself when you have a pop
Congratulations on your second pregnancy.
I am guessing you have not seen a Urogynecologist as you dont know what type of POP you have. Personally I would go to the Dr and make sure I new all I needed to about what type of POP I had and also ask to see a Urogyne. You can also ask you Dr to have a pessary fitted to put in your vagina for support during pregnancy. I do know of women who have gone on to have more children with POP. What do you mean by 'everything starying in while you give birth' exactly? It is possible you POP could get worse but not necessarily.
Consider speaking to your Dr about your concerns, clarifying your prolapse type and degree and the possibilities of a pessary.
If your Dr doesnt seem to know and even if they do you can ask to see a Urogynecologist for further help.
Come back to us and let us know how you get on.
This is my second pregnancy forgot to say that x
