prolapsed bladder & bowel

I had a complete abdominal hysterectomy 11/2010.  I have had problems ever since.  Now my bladder and bowel are both prolapsed.  I am really afraid of surgery again and if I must want an excellent surgeon who has done many of these.  I need to see a Urogyn.  I do not know how to find a good one in my area.  Please help me find a good surgeon or doctor to do this.  I hope it's ok that I am writing on here since I am pre-op.  I feel like I am going to give birth and babys head is in birth canal ready to deliver.  The only relief I get is in bed.  Can you please tell me a good doctor for this in Austin, Texas.  Thank you for your help. Please Help.... CP

AUGS  (American Urogynecologic Society) has a locator, here's a link to page to get to them. On their locator page, Insert your zip code and it should pull up those in your area, then google each dr to see who is a good fit for your needs.

Can your ob-gyn not recommend someone?  Is there a good teaching hospital in the area who can give you advice as to who is doing a lot of this kind of surgery?
