Has anybody been prescribed this type of medication for PATM.

I have thrush along with PATM.

Doctor prescribed:

Xifaxan 550MG

EnteraGam 5GM

Diflucan 100 MG

My question is has anybody been prescribed this type of medication and did it help with Thrush and PATM?

Yes and it came back worse ill never do antibiotics again no matter which type I did back to back rounds and adhered to diet -- I'm better know with mostly vegan

I have trush white coating on my tongue , also have patm , and realized then days I have more whiteboard coating my patm is stronger

Invest in a tongue scrapper. I only paid $10 for mine and it will last me for forever since it’s made of same material as forks/spoons. Keeping my tongue clean and free of this yellowish white coating has helped me tremendously.

Doctor put me on a FODMAP diet to try to reduce the amount of water that gets absorbed into my intestines thus reducing fermentation. I have already lost 10 pounds.

I still have not bought the medication cause it’s over $3000 dollars for a months supply. Will see how it goes.

I use tongue scraper the past 6 years to Ben honest , thx for the info I will have a look at FORMAP diet , I also do oil pulling with coconut oil and it seems like it goes away when I do it and comes back 2-3 hours later ,

Antibiotic called Xifaxen 550 mg 3 times a day for one month. Also, Enteragam which helps with the healing of gut lining.  Grateful mentioned that she has taking it in the past with no success.

Doctor explained that bad bacteria in my gut has grown out of control causing me to have constipation which increases fermentation which leads to toxic chemicals being produced by bad bacteria and being released by the body thru the skin, mouth and anus.

Thrush is just a secondary problem to my health. So I don’t know what I’m going to do, but I do know that I will stick to this fodmap diet for as long as I can.

As far as the cost of the medication, I have lousy medical insurance and furthermore here in the US big Pharma is in bed with politicians.
