Pre lipo - need advice

I am about to undergo lipo of the torso area.  Any things I should know, stuff to have on hand around the house, problems to anticipate (ie inability to wear certain clothes for a while, etc)?

Also, anyone ever go to a doc that recommended the endermologie intense massage post-op?  Thanks

I had lipo 7 years ago - small amount round tummy and hips.  I was bruised and swollen for a couple of weeks and the swelling took a cuople of months to truly go down.  Something they don't tell you is that lipo often encourages water retention in teh areas affected - so you can end up with bloating in those areas.  Soemthing else they dont' tell you is the unevenness that can occur - and did in my case.  They redid it, but I still have an area aruond my belly button that is raised and looks unnatural.  They said if they did any more it might result in slack skin - something else that happened to me - I hadn't had kids and was only 40, but I looked like I might have had!  Clothes do fit me better, but I've never been satisfied with teh overall result.  And I used a surgeon who is often featured on the TV here so I'm guessign he can't be that bad. It's just that lipo is not an exact science.

I had lipo almost 2 years ago. I was out at our State Fair drinking beer the next day. I was just sore....felt like I worked out really hard around my torso. Lots of brising, lots of swelling. Worth it, though! I thought it was simple and not that bad!
