@lovi151: I put him to bed around 8pm and he sleeps for 4 hours and wakes up around 12 when I go to sleep, that's his longest sleep, after that he wakes up every 2-3 hours,  I noticed that it's not because he's hungry but because of air in his tummy, he swallows too much air while nursing and I burp him all the time but it's not enough, he wakes up and pulls his legs up trying to pass some gas and cries, sometimes he doesn't even eat, I just comfort him and he goes back to sleep, I need to solve this gas problem and he will sleep a lot better, I think and hope so

@JMarie012: hi my son is 10 weeks and from last week he started to sleep a lot better at nights, its same as your baby I mean he sleeps for 6-7 hours at night and then a feed and again back to sleep for couple of hours. But as I posted previously that I was worried about his weight gain that if I don't feed him at midnight will it effect on his weight gain???? What do u think?

My daughter just turned 3 months and she has been sleeping through the night since a little over two months. I put her to bed around 11/12 then she usually wakes up around 7/8 then goes back to bed and gets up around 10/11.

I had same problem with my first, except she never slept for 3 hours, only 1.5-2 a a time, so I didn't sleep the whole year whole breastfeeding her, my friend recommended me to start giving my son plain water at night around 4-5 months cause their tummy is bigger and they eat more during the day so they don't need night feedings, he's 2.5 months now and at 4 months I'm going to try it cause I'm not in the mood of not sleeping the whole year again, people say it works after a couple of days or a week and baby doesn't wake up anymore cause they won't be fed and they don't like plain water, maybe u can try it, the more u wait the harder its going to be to teach her to sleep thru the night.
