I was told no bath or soaking and to use a medicated mild soap they gave me. No body soap or vjay jay soap for a few weeks.  I had my daughter 5 years ago so they may have changed things since then... And only sharing what worked for me. Best wishes to you and your daughter.

Use table salt in your tub and fill in up about half way with water. It helps clean! And makes the burning stop sooner! With my first I tore front to back and ripped out my stitches moving. With my second I ripped and ripped out two of those stitches moving.. so take it easy, soak often and use that water bottle

I had 4 stitches with my daughter. The hospital gave me a bottle kinda like a dish soap bottle to rinse as I was going. Then to help clean with soap and water after I was done. The best thing ever.. It helped so much..
