soy formula and diarrea.

My 10 month old has had diarrhea for 3 days now, he doesn't have a fever and he isn't dehydrated at all. He is also not acting any different so he doesn't seem sick at all. I have been doing the B.R.A.T diet along with his formula and it's still not getting better. I am wondering if anyone thinks I should switch to soy formula at this point considering it's the only thing I can think of to help at this point. Any advice is appreciated thanks.

I was curious what you discovered on this and experimented with.  Did you end up changing formulas?  I am a breastfeeder but I saw the topic about soy, I know for myself at one point in time I was having soy protein shakes and this caused diarrhea in both my husband and I daily.  It wasn't until we stopped using soy protein supplements that this stopped.  So I am interested in seeing if this changed for your baby or what occurred.

Sometimes my son Matthew (11 months) has some random bouts of diarrhea that dont seem to bother him or come from a known cause..and it usually gets resolved on its own. But if its not getting better than I would talk to his ped....it could be his formula though, i have heard of some people getting really good results from soy formula...but i have also heard of people getting negative results...i think its hit or miss! it wont hurt to try it though but I'd make sure your peds on board first!
