Fatigue?

I've had PCOS probably sense I started puberty. It wasn't till I was 18 that I was diagnosed. My mother, aunts and sister have PCOS. I'm 22 now and recently I've become plagued by extreme fatigue during my period. It's a real struggle to get through the days on my period because my eyes just won't stay open. I have two modes on my period; asleep or hyperactive sex drive. Both are annoying. Any clue what's up?

Seems normal. I just had my period this past weekend...and the second day of it I did nothing. I was so tired and whining the whole time. I felt so sleepy and lazy that I took like 3 naps during the day! Hormones change throughout the month and month to month. If you just have this extreme tiredness on your period, then I don't think there is much to do on it. But if your tired all the time, then I would get checked out.

It sounds like normal symptoms to me. Every month can be different especialy with PCOS. And also being young. If your taking any new meds that can also be a cause. Good luck!
