I think i have PCOS

Hello everyone, I'm 24y/o and I haven't had my period in about 2years now, and I finally visited a doctor. My doctor said she's 90% sure that I have PCOS due to how much weight i've gained and so much hair growth :( but she wont give me a diagnosis until she gets the results. she drew blood work to test my estrogen levels, anemia, etc and im scheduled to do an ultrasound of my pelvic on Monday. She asked me if I was trying to conceive (which I have been for 3years) and prescribed me prenatal pills for the meantime. Well my question is when i do get my diagnosis of having PCOS what will be my next step to conceive? I know my weight is an issue so thats why im on a diet and going to the gym to lose the weight, but will losing weight help me? i dont want to lose any hopes on becoming a mother.

One of the test that revealed it was the 17-hydroxytestosterone. It is more indeph than found the normal testosterone blood work. The first and cheapest treatment for pcos is me form in because pcos goes with insulin resistance which explains why we are unable to maintain or lose weight like an average person
