New to PCOS

Hi there,

I'm 28 in march and recent got diagnosed in October 2012 with pcos as I didn't have a period for a few months after I stopped taking the pill, I'm not over weight in anyway.

My doctor put me on dianett where I have been having my periods monthly but I went to the doctors tonight where my fertility tests came back low and chances of conceiving naturally doesn't look good. He has put me now on metformin, 1000mg to start off on to help me ovulate.

I'm really worried about not being able to have a baby, and does anyone have similar stories or success stories they can share? Has anyone got any other tips to help to get pregnant? Any diet food plans? As I have been told to go on a low carb, high protein diet.

Looking forward to hearing from anyone!

Thanks Barbara x
