I understand u babez, what I say is talk to the doctor, they may issue some pills, or talk to ur mum because she has gone through it all All I have to say is when u last had sex did u use a condom? If u did then it could be the condoms fault, did it rub or itch if u didn't use a condom then ur partner could have aids, or something wrong with his ding ****! but thats all I can say.

i have this same issue i have had pcos since i was 13! i had a prefectly fine sex drive when i was younger but now im 23 and dont care about it at all! my husband wants it all the time but i dont!! its really starting to affect our marriage! we've been together for 8 yrs married for 5 and used to do it like rabbit's and after 4 deployments i just dont want it anymore!! he gets upset all the time thinking i dont love him n i do i dont want it with anyone! i have told my gyn about it and all he said was well do it more and itll come back but i dont want it so how can i do it more when im never ever in the mood and i dont want to have sex just cause my man wants to i want to want it!! we recently went to a fertility doc cause i havent been able to get pregnant and i have an apt with a pcos clinic in about a wk but theyve all said the same u need to have more sex to want more sex!! but how is that fair to me to just have sex to please my husband or in the hope that it will bring my sex drive back!! like i said i want to want it!! i dont think my hubby will ever cheat on me but then again i know sex is important in a relationship! but if it were up to me i could go months without it b4 wanting it!! what should i do!!

You need to a GYN as this is a hormonal issue. Lack of sex drive is important not only to yourself, but to your partner. A healthy relationship needs sex.

Hi- yes been treated with metformin which has helped my periods and weight although still over weight but my GP refuses to commit to the lack of sex drive been due to the PCOS. I just know that i have had enough of feeling like a freak and my husband has certainly had enough. The way i feel i dont care if i never have sex again.

I know I sometimes don't want anything to do with sex and I know for sure it annoys my boyfriend. But sometimes that's just how it is with me. Are you being treated for your PCOS? Sounds like your hormones are inbalanced. Sex for me was never painful. Sometimes it will hurt if I didn't use the bathroom before, but other then that it's fine. My sex drive is recovering from the birth control I was on. Hopefully the med will clear out of my system. You should really see your doctor about this. Sex should not be painful.
