Some advice needed!!

Hi!! I have PCOS, my dr put me on metformin abut six months ago, I last had a period at the beginning of July, for the last week or so I have had very small amounts of brown discharge, a straining feeling in my tummy and slightly tender boobs, have never felt like this before, could I be pregnant? I know I know do a test, but I am scared too, we have been trying for so long, it just doesn't seem possible, I just wanted advice on whether anyone who was pregnant had these symptoms?  Thanks in advance x

Second regarding symptoms i use to have brown-pink-red 3 days b4 cycle... However if u never had thm b4 thn this could be implantation bleeding... I actually have im plantation bleeding... Every time...

Stillhavefaith... U need to discuss this matter with doctor for getting positives as it could be possible u r producing cysts which are causing some hcg hormones making u get positive tests... Take care n keep us posted...

First i have never heard anything like pcos women having wrong positive test.. Unless u r on iui or ivf or taking hormonal shots... U cn only have false positive ovulation test not pregnancy test... So perform a test if u have doubt tht u r pregnant... I have pcos for as long as i remember... I have been pregmant twice with metformin n clomid... N i always had normal positive pregnancy test... If u r only on metformin u cn still get pregnant so yes u should pregnancy test... If its negative n u still hvnt had ur cycles get a blood test if thts negative thn something has changed n triggered pcos to make u delay ur cycle or increased their length... Thn u ll need medication to induce pwriods... Take care n keep us posted....

The month I got pregnant (after three years of trying) I had absolutely no symptoms. All the times before I was certain I was pregnant because I always felt like it. Everyone is different but stay hopeful. I thought it was never going to happen for me.

IDK sometimes I have tender boobs, ect.. and I'm never pregnant. I chalk it up to our messed up hormones because thats what PCOS does. BUT I do think you need to face the music and take a test to make sure. I know how it is to want a child so bad. I ended up going to a fertilty DR and took fermera and got pregnant. there are those storys that girls have lost weight and taken metformin and have gotten pregnant. Goood luck!

Hello, I also have PCOS and have been on Metformin since October 2011.  Every month i have a brown discharge at least a week before my period and tender boobs.  Those symptoms makes me hopeful that i am pregnant but it always ends in me not being pregnant.  Last month i got 3 false positives, the pregnancy line was light but it was there.  I went to have a blood tst done and it said that I was not pregnant.  I am still remaining hopeful that it will happen for me and my husband.  I am overweight, so I am on a strict diet and doing weight watchers to lose the weight.  I have lost 35 pounds since January and have 30 more to go.  Good Luck Everyone!

i would sayto take a test but know that women with PCOS can get a false positive so maybe it would be better to have a blood test done so that you can know for sure! When i was pregnant i had the same thing happen... I know it's scary but if your not pregnant it's even scarier... just take a ept and if it says yes try and schedule an apt i hope this helps a bit.
