endometrial polyps

Recently I did a biopsy where the histopathology report indicated that there is a benign functional "endometrial polyps" in the uterus. The gynea recommended that one of the option is to remove the uterus, while the orvaries remain. The other option is to take medication but it does not guarantee complete recovery but only control the situation.

My question is should I do the surgery and what are the implications of the removal.

Actually, I already have kids and pregnancy is not the issue. I am more concern on the implications of the after surgery effects eg whether we need to take pills for long period, side effects etc

I am not sure such surgery is risky.

If you removed your uterus you wouldnt be able to be pregnant ever... I am not sure of the implications but i definitely know the previous to be true. Good luck!
