hi ladies
try the health topics tab on the upper right of the page theres a few good links for cysts
i feel ur pain and anxiety and i pray with knowledge u will have peace
complex cysts are basically cysts with a liquid and solid component .. only five percent of the solid components turn out to be ovarian cancer ... the most common is a functional cyst that u get every month of ur menstruating life and sometimes they get a lil blood in them (hemmoraghic cysts)
but u are so right to see ur doctors and search for the answers .. OVCA used to be the "silent killer" because of its aqpparent lack of symptoms ... if we all pursue answers/treatment when something is not right ... we can wipe this sucker out of existence someday
theres so many tests they can do but in my experience these docs really love the radiology reports (even if they never met the radiologist) .. keep hounding them til u get answers
good luck
love sharon
I hope all is well with you. I too just found out I have a complex cyst. No other characteristic was given and they said no liquid in the cul-da-sec.
I am freaking out, crying a lot, and so so so scared.
I have an appointment with the GYN tomorrow.
