prolactin levals

hi my prolactin is 68.87ng/ml is this a tumor

thanks i did a scan yesterday.. it say pitutary gland is in normal size...
i am trying for a baby,,, does this effect .. dr say nothing to worry but i am scared become i assume this will effect my fertility .
pls help me i am in kenya and medical facility s here is not good as most of country's.

HI,
One of the reasons for raised prolactin levels is micro-adenoma of the pitutary gland. This can only be diagnosed on CT scan or MRI of the brain. Consult your Doctor. Medicines will help bring prolactin levels to normal. Hope this helps.
