I have also had my thyroid checked and have real mild GERD/acid reflux, not too extreme. Its seems that this happens when I stopped the BC pill, but when im on the pill, I have other issues. I was told that the pill stops ovarian cysts but idk if the cysts are causing this "pregnant look" and upper stomach pain too. HELP!

I look just like this and I have been diagnosed with PCOS. Does anyone every get upper stomach pain when this episode is happening? It seems to last like a few weeks and it comes and goes. It like sharp pinching pain for a second and then stops. The only thing that helps is pushing my stomach out more like taking in a deep breath.

It like right by the gall bladder/liver area. I had my gall bladder checked, liver and blood tests. I had my appendix okay'd. Please help! What is the best birth control pil for this with the least amount of side effects?

hi im 17 my stomach has done exactly this i look about 7 months preg and it feels like im going to pop i have pcos had small ones about 6 on each ovary but now they have swollen and one or two have ruptured still on codine until they do another scan so helpful arnt they these doctors :(
im hurting and they wont do anything, oh also there are white blood cells and protien in my urine? anyone had this and what does it mean? x

i have pcod which diagnosed when on periods were observed for 2 months. i have swelling also in ovaries... my gynae gave me contraceptive pills for 5 days for periods to start but today is 7 day but my periods doesnt come i have abdominal cramps...... pls help me

i have pcos. ive had scans but i ive had swelling like this since before i was diagnosed. im 19 by the way and i find it very fustrating and hide my stomach when im out incase people think im pregnant. im going to see the gynacologist again in a few weeks. its awful i feel physically sick when it happens and i cant eat if it is swelled. the doctor gave me codine for the pain but this doesnt work so fingers crossed i will get answers soon . x

I have the same thing and my doctor did ultrasounds and tests and said that it's just swelling and excessive rapid weight gain.

I looked just like that about 2 months ago. The diagnosis is so frustrating! I went through the same thing...one family doc said I pulled an ab muscle and it's swollen and the next family doc was convinced that i was pregnant, although everything said I wasn't.

I finally went in for a TVUS and it showed a huuuuge right ovarian cyst. Since then ,it has burst a little and moved around so it's not as uncomfortable and big at all. However, it's still abnormally big and I have an appointment with a gync onc, I'm assuming to set up a surgery date, unless he has any other good ideas to get rid of this thing.

Is your abdomen hard as a rock? Mine was...it was the weirdest feeling!!!

Hang in there, they'll figure it all out for you..,..just be patient, I know it's hard.

Have any of you had bloating like this before (maybe not as big.. but abdominal swelling?) My PCS said I'm just fat.  I went to my usual GYN October 8th. She said it's all hormonal and changed my meds. (No exam.. no tests).. I really started to think..maybe this isn't as bizzare as I think.  (and yes Choclit.. it hurts, and yes super sally- I have probems eating and going to the bathroom)

As one last check- I scheduled w/ a new doc and she's been great. I saw her on Thursday and she did a physical and really listened to me. She said something is going on and we're going to find it! She sent me for a TVUS. She doesn't do them in her office. I did that and bloodwork late Thursday. Should have results Monday (I hope). I'll keep you all posted.

No it was just a baby that did not develop. It just left the sac that growed like a baby would grow.

It's called a molar pregnancy (sac but no baby ) is extremely rare.

I'm actually seeing a new doc today. I'll keep everyone posted. Thanks for the reply. Know anything else about your mom's "sac"? Was it a tumor?

I would see a doctor. My mom had something like that and she had a sack growing with nothing in it.
