I have experienced extreme weight gain with PCOS.  Struggling with weight loss. Any suggestions?  Very depressing!

I'm right there with you! The only thing that worked for me was a mostly vegan diet! I'm 22 pounds down so far in 4 months, slow but steady. Surprisingly easier than you'd think and very successful for PCOS!!!

I also have pcos and have been obese since forever basically but ive read about it and people recommend exercise(because your body with pcos is not dealing with your insulin much like type 2) and taking Inositol powder with is basically a b vitamin complex that is a kind of sugar and looks a bit like crystal meth. Also you might try eating paleo for about a month or two and then reintroduce stuff like dairy and gluten into your diet. You may have an intolerance. I'm only twenty but it's plagued me long enough. I'm starting to work hard and dealing with it. I can give you links to different articles if you need me to? in the meantime, take care of yourself, dont starve yourself or diet and try not to beat yourself up over it. ****** up Hormones are to blame here. K?
