Just Wondering.....

How long did it take you already moms to pregnant again after ACTIVELY trying conceive? When I say actively.... I mean actually charting & testing ovulation monthly.

I was breastfeeding so my period didn't come.back until my daughter was 6.5 months old. I then skipped a cycle (no ovulation or bleeding) and got pregnant again when she was 8.5 months old. I'm now 33 weeks. :)

I had my daughter in December of last year and in February I had my period and come to find out I'm already 11 weeks pregnant again, it all depends on how your body works, I guess, it took me 3 years to get pregnant with her, n with this one was just bam a huge surprise...

It took longer with the second than my first :-( Started trying again when my oldest was 8 months (would have tried earlier but took that long for my period to come back with breastfeeding) and then after 6 months gave up on charting, stopped trying and got a new job. Two weeks after accepting my new position found out number 2 was on their way!

My first wasn't planned so unsure on how long, but my second took 10 months and this pregnancy we fell first time. I didn't used kits etc but we were still trying for them.
Sometimes the stress you put under yourself with times, dates and how long it's taking to conceive makes it harder. With my second, every month I felt hurt that I wasn't pregnant yet and the one month I didn't pay attention to when my period was due or dates of ovulation etc that was the month I fell pregnant.

We tried for 3 months then surprise we were pregnant. I tracked my ovulation and we both started a special diet to increase our chances.
