Missed period :/

I have missed a period, I am ovulating again in 3 days ... If you miss a period will you still ovulate ? I am going to try a ovulation test tomorrow x any help for now would be greatfull xxxx

Just to let you know ovulation test also pick up the hormones that a pregnancy test does. So an ovulation test can say you are pregnant so its best to go ahead and take a pregnancy test. I didnt have a pregnancy test the first I found out I was pregnant. I had a ovulation test and it was positive when I was suppose to be on my period so I got a pregnancy test and sure enough I was pregnant.

Plus if you have a regular cycle  you ovulate 14 days after  take a pt and then go fron there but I will still have sex thow if your trying to have a baby good luck hun xx

If you took an ovulation test, you have to take them for days leading up to ovulation to notice a change in the lines.  And then after to see if the lines get light again to make sure you hit it.  (temp drop also confirms this if you track your temp).  But if you think you have a positive ovulation test, you can have sex today and still have a chance.  good luck

Hi there.  We only have a period after we ovulate.  It's a biological process our body goes through driven by hormones.  Ovulation happens and then  a certain number of days pass and the lining of the uterus is washed out if there is not a fertilized egg.  

If you think you got pregnant last cycle (the one before you think you missed a period) take a test.  but otherwise, you are actually still in one long cycle starting with the first day of your very last period you had.  

I had cycles that were 3 to 4 months long (period only that often) when I was having issues with my thyroid.  

The only way to know when you'd ovulate now is through ovulation test kids because you are still in that initial cycle that you are thinking of as the month you skipped your period.  Does that make sense?

What you mean hun take a pregnancy test and see what the result is a ovulation only detects ovulation or are you trying to dectet ovulation

I have just took a ovulation test it came back positive x so look like I have missed a month x

I think its just to early did you take a test recently if you have when did you take it leave it for 3days and then retest

I have the first day of my missed period and 2 days ago :( x I normally come on, the 14th of evey month x I haven had a period since the 14th of June xxx because my test is negative do you think I haven't ovulated yet ? X

I think it depends on why you missed your period. If you used the pill to skip a period then maybe, if you have a hormone imbalance maybe not, and if you're already pregnant then no.
