Scared to test

Hi TTC community. I'm trying to get pregnant. I bd'd the week I was ovulating. That was over 2 weeks ago. The past week I've been feeling little bubbles near my reproductive system. It feels similar to little baby kicks. I know that's not what it is but that's the only way I can explain it lol. 4 days ago I think I had implantation spotting. I thought my cycle was starting (cycle was due Sept 1) but I spotted a brownish color Tuesday then it stopped then again on Wednesday then it stopped. Nothing since and my cycle is now 2 days late. Should I wait a few more days and if I don't get my cycle try a HPT? I'm wishing for a BFP! Wish me luck and baby dust to whomever is trying as well!

I always thought implantation bleeding occurs about a week before your period is due? So if you had spotting a few days ago and your period is now past due I would test. But if it's negative wait a few days and do it again because HCG levels (should) double every 48 hours.
