Thyroid hormone levels during TTC

Hello All,

I am currently TTC, Age 32 and my thyroid levels are : T4 Free - 1.45 and TSH - .02 .I am taking 200 MCG Levothyroxine.

I am paranoid about these levels. I think my dosage should be reduced but doctor thinks that it is normal and wouldn't interfere with my TTC process.

Any information you have would be appreciated!!

I'm on levothyroxine too, but only 50 MCG for now, because my hormones were only slightly out of whack. I have a round of blood work next week to see if we need to adjust to dose.

I'd say take the 200 for now and just watch out for any symptoms of hyperthyroidism, which would mean your dose is too high. I know the pills can take about 6-8 weeks before you really start to notice changes.

Hi, I believe those are in normal range, but it doesn't hurt to get a second opinion. Keep in mind that many women. With hypothyroidism need to increase their dose while pregnant.
