Trying to be pregnant.

Am trying to be pregnant again. But I haven't got my periods yet. That's means am not ovulating. What should I do? Am nursing my first born.

Well sometimes your period doesn't come as quickly as if you weren't breastfeeding but thas no reason to stop breastfeeding. Your period will come. A menstrual cycle starts with ovulating then your period so your menstrual cycle can start at any time generally if you are breastfeeding it comes 2 to 6 months after giving birth. So what I would recommend is have sex as much as possible because you have a 3 day period to get pregnant. And if you want to get pregnant as soon as possible try to get pregnant on your first menstrual cycle. But don't be discuraged it takes a bit for your hormones to go back to normal so your period might not be regular at first but once it's starts to regulate there is more of a chance for you to get pregnant.

My doctor told me that breastfeeding is like a natural birth control, as long as you are breastfeeding, your chances of getting pregnant are very, very slim, but I got pregnant now while I was, but my daughter was 2 yes.  Old also, so I guess you could say it's just a waiting game!
