Trying to conceive

my husband and myself are trying to conceive. This is our first time trying. I had my last period oct 8-12 and they are usually a regular 28 day cycle. We have had sex every other day since the first of the month. Are there any tips on how to conceive or the best time to try?

I have actually been taking a prenatal vitamin for about a month now (doctor suggested it). As a first time "beginner" it's all a bit confusing. Thank you so much for your help!

It sounds like you're off to a great start! I track my cervical mucus to help determine when I'm most fertile. Most women when they ovulate have what's called egg white cervical mucus. Think of cracking an egg, the clear slippery substance is the best for sperm survival... it will also tell you when you're ovulating so if you don't fall pregnant you can kind of predict when the next months ovulation will take place. I'd also recommend taking prenatals as well as fish oil capsules (the omega 3 fatty acids are great for you and help improve fertility) best of luck!!
