So i turn 36 weeks tmrw and im getting this period like cramp pains. Like they hurt n are sharp.are these contractions??? Theyre like every 10 thru 20 min so far.They hurt n im walking like a penguin now =( my water isnt broken yet nor have i lost my mucus plug

Yes I believe those are contractions. That's how they feel belly tightened up and cramp like pain if it happens 5 times within a hour you should call a doctor. Get your cervix checked out also make sure your baby not trying to come.

My contraction pains were like bad gas pains.  Not sure what it's like for others.

Ive been feeling those sharp pains since 33 weeks. Ill be 36 weeks in three days and my "penguin walk" is pretty bad

I also felt the same way this week a day before I turn 36wk and 2days after but I'm now ok.it was a bit painfull.today I went to town but I feeling ok.
