I am not sure. What did your Dr. say? Were they looking for it on Doppler or ultrasound? I am honestly not sure at what point a doppler picks it up, but have heard many cases of women who haven't heard babies heartbeat till a bit further along. I would go by whatever your Dr. tells you at this point. Good luck to you
I am confused.. your title says 19 week 4 day fetus. then your post says 10 week day fetus, how far along are you exactly..
At 11 weeks my OB put the Doppler on and only heard one heartbeat (twins). He immediately did an u/s and both were swimming and moving so for some reason the Doppler did not pick it up.
This feotus was 10 weeks not 19, did an us and no heart beart 3 days after an miscarriage. What could have suddenly caused this?
I am so sorry for your loss. Its hard to say what causes a m/c. I also had one close to 10 weeks, and they have never been able to say what happened. Is your Dr. doing any tests? Its hard I know, but sometimes there is just no explanation.
Take good care.
A high percentage of miscarriages are caused by a chromosome problem. As the fetus grows, if the chromosomes are not correct, the fetus cannot continue. I suddenly lost a baby too around 16-17 weeks because of a chromosome issue. Your doctor may run some tests to find out the cause. I'm so sorry for your loss. Just remember, most women who have miscarriages go on to have a healthy pregnancies and babies afterwards. Best wishes.
I did a D&C should get result from test soon. This is my first miscarriage and I have two beautiful girl before. I was just concern about the effects afte a miscarriage. Thanks Again
