If your doctor is aware and you are actively trying to quit which you stated you are the I don't think that they can take your baby from you. I'm sorry for you loss and hope you start to feel better soon can your doctor prescribe any meds for the nausea so you can eat?

Thank you all for the POSITIVE feed back! I have seen a drug counselor and she lets my doctor know that I'm trying!! I smoked when I was pregnant with my son the whole nine months, he has been skipped two grade levels and he is 10, my daughter is 14 and she was also skipped a grade level! I have stop smoking and I'm back to being sick and I can't eat, but I refuse to smoke, I have lost 10 of the 12 pounds I gained and I pray that I don't lose anymore weight! Thank you alll!!! Scared momma

In most states, if your doctor is aware and helping you to try and stop they won't take your baby even if it does test positive. But if you stop now, drink lots of fluids like water and cranberry juice it should be out of you and the babies system by birth. What does your doctor say? Plus if you do continue to use weed I would suggest you eat or vape as oppose to smoking it because there have been some studies that show the THC isn't as harmful as the actually smoke. I'm not trying to start a controversy just want you to know what I had found. Good luck

She is already stressed out that was a mean comment chikitac10. Its not as easy as everyone thinks it is to quit. baby or no baby its difficult. At least she trying to stop why you gotta call her selfish thats just wrong.

Im not going to put you down like some women will. Drink lots of water and try to cut back on smoking pot its harder to quit if you been smoking for a while like me im been smoking pot for 4 years so I just cut back to every other day then once a week then once every two weeks to finally quitting. And im proud of myself I don't smoke pot anymore. Good luck.

Sadly we all go through things before, during, and after pregnancy. Life is tough. I would tell your dr, learn some different coping skills and get some recommended meds to help with the pain, then hope for the best. Good luck!

Yes, I told my doctor I have been smoking for over 10 years, I'm dealing with my mom who had breast cancer, my aunt is dying of liver cancer, and I am just now able to keep food down! With just 30days to go!
