The little one is just not ready yet. I know how frustrating this can be but, Just hang in there. With my second one I had water flushing like a burst pipe with no labour pain. Went to that hospital and sent home after two days, the water started gushing out again and I returned to the hospital. They sent me home again. the labour pains only started after a week and 3 days and shoo! It lasted for a week. I was realy going mad and was so much worried about my baby's safety but WOW! I safely delivered a very healthy girl. She is 13 now.

I was in a similar situation with my second child.  My doctor said I could schedule an induction at anytime during the 39th week, but I wanted to wait it out...glad I did, I went into labor naturally 3 days before my 40th week.  When baby's ready, they;ll let you know!!   Best wishes!!

I feel for you! I was pretty much the same way with two of my three children. Your doctor should monitor you pretty closely from now until delivery. Normally, you will start having Non-Stress Tests (NSTs) to monitor the baby's condition. As long as the baby is doing well, most doctors will just monitor unless you haven't delivered by 42 weeks. At that point, or if the baby isn't doing as well as they'd like during your NSTs, they will probably recommend an induction.

I was induced with the bothof two children I mentioned before. IF they induce you, see if they will do the Cervigil gel to ripen your cervix. If they won't (it is quite a bit more expensive than misoprostol, which is the other med they use for cervical ripening so miso is "preferred")...insist on oral misoprostol...not a pill put near your cervix to disolve...trust me on this :) The pill is too easy for the nurse to mess up the placement...in which case it will do nothing for you!

Best wishes for you!

I feel for you.  I'm 29 weeks and my body is just so sore and I'm just so tired.  If you've had extra complications, then it's just that much more exhausting.  Hang in there.  You'll have the little one in your arms in no time!
