39th week.....
This is my 39th week...have false contractions but cervix is not open till yet. Any suggestions to induce labor..

Im 39 weeks today and have also been getting false contractions...ive just started taking evening primrose oil and have also inserted a capsule in my cervix..I ooened the capsule..and then had sex after (which I hate at the moment as so uncomfortable! ) and I have lost some of my mucous plug. Evening primrose oil softens the cervix making labour and delivery easier and quicker apparently. .and reduces chances of tearing so this is why I am doing it. Some women say it has bought on labour also :)
