I did, i saw her today ,the reason behind it all is that the hospital where she has privilege s do not allow v bac. She that they dont have an ob in house , an emergency where to they would not have the staff ready for me, I did not know this in the beginning so bumped. The only way I would be able to would be in another hospital with an unknown Dr. Thank you all , wish me luck
Talk more with your doctor if there are no other issues besides that's just what he thinks then try the vbac...but talk more with your doctor
Are you sure there are no other underlying conditions that he may feel c section is safer? Possibly placenta previa? I would definitely bring yoir concerns to your Drs attention at your next appointment. Maybe if you express how bad you desire a natural birth, he will gladly go along. Either way, good luck!!
I don't see why you wouldn't be able to have a VBAC.
You have a proven pelvis and an 18 year healed scar, i don't see why you couldn't try a vbac. Ask your doctor. There may be some concern about your given hospital and possibly its ability to hamdle an emergency. I live near several hospitals, but i choose to give birth in one of the smallest. If i were to want to attempt a vbac, i would likely have to consider another place... just to give you an example.
If it's been 18 years I don't see why your dr is electing for you to have a repeat cesarean. Express your concerns and let them know you want a vbac! Remember that you have a choice if there's no medical reason to go under the knife. There's a Facebook page I follow called birth without fear! Fantastic page :) Good luck and god bless!!!
