I'm 41 and 11 weeks pregnant and my daughter is turning one this week :)
And I have a 1 day old granddaughter.
Life is good :)
It's so nice to see lots of positivity and whoever says 41 years old is too old can take a wrong turn and get 'lost'
So I haven't done it all but I'm figuring it out as I go too. Let's support each other!

I am 37. My girlfriend is 43, she also just had her 2nd. Are you freaking out because of your age?

I'm 42 and 19 weeks, A mum to 5 . From 20 to 4.  Yes this was a surprise!!!  But you just make it work. I'm definitely knackered this time and injecting clexane daily. Having all the checks I can as well as living in 48 degree heat .

I'm high risk for multiple reasons - diabetic, history of pre-eclampsia and I suppose because of the f-word...over forty lol. But I feel better than I did with my first baby in my twenties! So I don't think forty is a reason to worry to much. Just enjoy each day and every moment! Sorry for rambling.

Anyway with my last baby (she is 1) and this pregnancy I am seen once a month by my OB and once a month by my family physician so that meant every two weeks...and for the last 3 months I saw my OB every 2 weeks and then once a week in the last few weeks. And then c-section at 38 weeks.

I'm happy to see others pregnant at 40. I just found out I'm 6 weeks & hcg levels are good. I'm scheduled for ultrasound next week. I assume we are high risk due to age.  Just wondering how often others are seen by their OB & if there are additional tests I need to ask for.

I am 40 years old with a 3 year old. I don't feel I look that old, I'm now almost 15 weeks pregnant with my 2nd. I walked into a Drs office with my daughter the other day and some guy was commenting on how cute she was, then asked is that your granddaughter!!!!  I could have killed him but I was too tired :) and nauseous

Congratulations!!! This is a beautiful time in your life, enjoy every moment and ignore people that are not happy for you. I'm 41 and just found out on Mother's Day that baby #6 is on its way. I'm to early to announce it but when I do, everyone that isn't happy for us can walk away cuz we don't care what they think. My kids are 24, 20, 17, 14 & 3. I am also a new grandma to a 3wk old baby that was born 3mnths premature. My grandchild had taught me so much in these past 3 wks and I know that this baby is a Blessing from God and we are Happy!!! My husband for the past 6yrs is 11 yrs younger than me and he deserves another child as do I, since it is what we have been wanting. All I can say to you is, don't worry and enjoy this Blessing from God. ❤️

I'm also 41 and pregnant with my second child. I really don't care if anyone is talking about me, because being pregnant is a blessing. Besides, I'm healthy and the baby is doing just fine. You can't stop people from talking...that's what they are going to do. You just need to be able to take care of yourself and that beautiful baby.

Hi there! First let me congratulate all of you for being such of powerful womens.
Let me tell you my story. I was a single parent at 26, his father took off so it was only me, my self and my son. One year later I met my husband who has been an excellent father for the last 12 years. My husband didn't have any kids so 4 years after being married my daughter Jazlynn was born. I took the bad decision of getting sterilized at 32, I will be turning 40 in two weeks and I am desperate of getting pregnant again but the surgery for getting my tubes reverted is expensive. I regret every day for taking such of wrongful decision and now I'm just hoping for a miracle.
If I were you I should not feel embarrassed or scared of spreading the good news. You are blessed for having the opportunity to conceive and give birth. Don't worry worry about what people would say or think about your age. 40's are the new 20's and people live longer these days.As long as you take care of yourself and you keep healthy you should be fine.
I wish good luck to all of you.

Surround yourself with positive people, but most of all love and accept yourself and this beautiful Blessing that's growing in your tummy :). Everything is placed in your life for a good reason even when it's hard to see it that way.
