38 and pregnant

This is my second child, my son is 14 and I've never carried full term before this is my 3rd pregnancy and the first I made it to 5 1/2 months, a few weeks with the second years in between and 6 months with my son who weighed 2les 5 oz. I'm only about 6 weeks but I'm so scared this pregnancy won't go full term so I have promised myself not to get excited or bond because of this anyone have any advice for this crazy lady?

Thanks, I went for my first appointment today and I am labeled high risk and she explained all the new things I can do to make sure this pregnancy goes well.

Medicine has come a long way in the past 14 years. Have you been to your doctor yet? You should be considered high risk. Make sure your doctor is well aware of your past pregnancies so that this pregnancy can be well monitered.
