Sharp Stabbing Pains

It seems like I have a new ailment every day with this pregnancy! Today I've been having some sharp stabbing pains in my abdomen...not isolated to any one particular area, even occurring mid belly right near my belly button?! Has anyone else experienced this sort of thing? And do you know whether or not it's normal? My next ultrasound isn't until the 17th, so I will be extremely paranoid between now and then! I have a fetal Doppler but the doctor says I shouldn't use it.

Sounds like round ligament pain. Your uterus is growing, stretching, and pushing on the rest of your organs causeing the discomforts. Most women get it the most when flexing they're abdomen to get up or when sneezing or coughing.

Round ligament pain for sure. Drink a lot of water, try not to move around too quickly
