miscarriage at 5 weeks 5 days

I just had a miscarriage a little over a week ago. It was my first pregnancy. I know they say there is no reason, it's natures way of making sure you have a healthy baby and all that but I can't help but wonder if it's me. I'm wondering if I should get my hormones, fsh and all that checked before we try again. My ob gyn said to wait one cycle before we try again but I'm supposed to populate ovulate in 5 days and I'm so tempted to try again. My emotions are all over the place, I'm angry, I'm sad, I can't make a decision to save my life and I hate my husband on most days. Anyone have any advice or words of wisdom?

Sorry for your lost.
Now what you have to do is get your health back on track and fit eat and rest properly. And find a good time to talk to your husband about what you feel.

My third was a miscarriage at 13 wks. I understand the whole blaming yourself thing but I doubt it had anything to do with you or your husband. Yes it hurts but it will get better. When your ready you should try again. It doesn't mean it will happen another time. I'm 40 wks prego now in my fourth pregnancy. You know you can get pregnant. Dont worry about the rest.

I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks with my 1st. As did my friend and many others. It is very common to have a miscarriage with your first pregnancy. I would do some research on it, it will make you feel better. I did and I stopped blaming myself.

I had 2 miscarriages in early pregnancy and I'm 20 weeks right now.   You go through so many emotions when this happens.  It's not easy and what you are feeling is normal.  Distance time wise helps you to think through it but know it is not your fault.   I hated hearing it but chromosomal abnormalities are usually the reason for a miscarriage.   Sometimes people have undiagnosed blood issues.  It doesn't hurt to ask your doctor for an explanation.  Try for a baby as soon as you are ready physically and emotionally.   You can get pregnant so that's the good news.   It will happen for you.
