Baby Shower Ideas

Hello Ladies,

I've been helping my friend ALL day think of ideas for my baby shower (which won't be until August)...................but I figure what better place to go to for ideas than here.........so LADIES, I'm up for ANY suggestions, ideas, etc... you  have to offer.  We've thought of a lot of things (will list below) BUT we're soooooo scattered with everything, that nothing is concrete or anything.

OK, we've decided on a moon bounce to occupy the kids
It's going to be hot, so it'll be a cook-out/baby shower
We haven't thought of a theme yet (OH, I'm having a boy), she was thinking just blue and white
3D sono pics on invitations
3D sono pics on some balloons
party bags for everyone (trying to determine some sort of personalized party favor)
gifts for winners of the games, AND
We're adding side note to the invitations that says if anyone brings a bag of pampers they'll get 10 raffle tickets, and a case, they'll received 30, and every hour, or half hour (depending on how many bags of pampers we get) we'll call out a raffle number and give away a prize, an of course we're stressing that the pampers can be ANY size (as babies grow)

OK, ANY other suggestions are welcomed...........since I'm planning on this to be my LAST baby, I do sorta wanna go a little over the top, so no suggestions/ideas are too off the chart

play this game were everyone puts some vasoline on there nose and then blind fold them and put cotton balls on a plate and give them 15 seconds to try and pick up and throw off as many as they can you will enjoy this so much and dont forget to tape it its a lot lf fun and and nother game is blind fold them and play pin the bird on the man just use a cardboard box and draw or paint on a man but not the bird and them cut out a lot of peices of his things and and them spin them around and direct them to the picture and pin it on make sure its big enough so its allmost the same size as you you will also enjoy it well have fun oh yes take the label off of the baby food jars on write on a paper what they are but dont show anyone and let them write down what they think it is good luck.

my sister and I were thinking for her next shower it would be fun if we have everyone  bring some kind of homemade frozen dinner for those first few weeks when you have no time to cook at all.  My MIL threw a bunch of chicken cattetoire in our freezer which was great and we wished we had more!!  It is such a huge help and better than any gift (especially if you already have little ones and don't need much of the baby gear).  It would be like going to one of those "Let's Dish" type places except it'd be favorite recipes from your friends.

best idea.. for the shower buy a bunch of thank you cards.. and have everyone address their own envelope and put a sticking in it of what they bought you... it makes thank yous sooooo much easier!!!
