Same thing happened on Wednesday night... I'm a ftm and I have.tried everything! Walking, yoga ball, jumping jacks, bumpy car ride, sex, pineapple, and even castor oil...and I'm STILL going no where I'm relaxing now and have contractions every 15-20 minutes how do I get this started :/

The only thing that can start labor is labor inducing drug...baby will come when baby wants to come....if all is well you and baby are fine let it happen...you can lie in bed all day long and you would still go into labor when it's time

I'm in the same boat as you...well less weeks but they're going to induce next Tuesday if I don't go on my own before then. Had the membranes stripped and now I'm getting so frustrated waiting with nothing but irregular contractions. I even mowed the yard today to try to get stuff going.  All I can say is good luck and have patience...or at least try not to yell at the people who say "omg r u still pregnant" or "your baby will come when he/she is ready and don't rush it". I've lost my patience with others...have you?
