Best time to test

My last menstrual. . Was October 13th 2013 I ovulated October 26th 2013 I was due to start my period November 10th 2013 my. Has not come. I know I had implantation bleeding about 4 days before I was due to start my. period. I have resf yhays iyd bext to rest 1 week after a missed period. My obgyn told me the same thing. i took a cb easy and first reaponse test they both were neg. I told my obgyn and she said it was too soon. .I just wonder why some preg tests cant pick. up the Hcg sooner.Is waiting a week after you miss your period normal!

Yes, normal I didnt test positive till 5 days after missed period. Goodluck

Yes, it is normal.  Mine tells me to wait 2 weeks before calling her with a missed period.  It takes time for the Hcg level to build up.  Some people ovulate earlier so they have more time to have it build up.
